Pool time is coming to an end...

If you look closely, you can see she has a pissy face. She's getting ready to complain about something.

Ballet has Begun

Ballet has started and we are so excited. It was an interesting day, Megan was the only student to show up. Better luck next week?

Since Megan was the only student, Timmy and I hung around to watch. He was a good boy.

This is Mrs Tammy. She has a studio in downtown Mt Prospect and teaches all kinds of dance. Megan is considering hip hop and tap. We are going to do a "practice" class to check it out.

My cutie pa-tootie.

I've attached a video below. Let's see how this works out.

The Wiggles

On a last minute wim, we decided to see if there were any good seats left at the Wiggles concert just a few weeks ago. WE GOT FLOOR SEATS. It all sounds fantastic, but really, the sections are better. The floor means you really are level with everyone and if anyone stands or puts their kid up, you cannot see. We had a lot of that. Never the less, it was super fun and we had a great time. It was just "the 3 of us" as Daddy was finishing up with fire academy.
We had just arrived, and thankfully early early to the concert to not only find our seats timely, but do a potty break and check out all the cool stuff for sale. We purchased a new reversible wiggle/Dorthy hat as our last was washed and is small enough for Timmy's head, and we also got a Captain Feathersword doll. You have to be a Wiggle fan to know how cool that really is. Megan just has not gotten tired of this group, and it's ok with me. They have up beat music that I can "stand".

Timothy did enjoy it very much. Well, when he was awake. Most of the concert was during nap time, which he did very well with. We even received a compliment on how good he was. Of course.. what a good baby!

Megan is singing along with the Wiggles, itsy bitsy spider.

Megan and Timmy are dancing the day away. He had just woken up from his nap and was happy as can be. Any time with Megan is a fun time though. He had on a dino outfit to "fit in" as Megan had her alumni Wiggles concert shirt from 2005. Rock baby!

We are OK!

We'll, being without internet for days has been terribly difficult. On the bright side, this is the only thing we "lost" during the storm. Our neighbors just across the street lost power and all around us as well. We were about 1/10 blocks that didnt lose power in Mt Prospect. We did however, loan our generator and had extention cords running from our house to 3 houses to save their basements from flooding and fridges. They were finally able to "stand on their own" late Sunday night.
I'm updating this quickly to tell you all that we are doing just fine. Even went to the pool tonight for a bit of a break. It's quite hot here today. Expecting more storms tomorrow, just praying it's nothing like last Thursday. I've got a bunch of pictures to share with you, but that will have to wait till tomorrow as they are all on the computer upstairs.

10 years and still going

Todd and his buddies have been playing softball since 97. This is a few pictures from their championship games last Monday.

They didnt win the 2nd game. Megan is consoling Uncle Scott. "There is always next year. You won the first game". Too cute!

Sunny Days

Here we are outside in the front yard, enjoying the sun shine. Megan got a new bathing suit, and yes, it's a bikini. Daddy says only because your 5, but not when your 15. It was just too cute to pass up for $5. Megan and Daddy did water balloons. It was pretty fun. I was in charge of filling them. The bucket was always empty.

Timothy wanted to stand. And he was so funny about it, I was taking pictures while he was trying. Hence the one hand we have going here. I didn't drop him. He's pretty good on his two feet. And yes, that would be 7 teeth you see, but actually there are 8. We just had another pop up. It's pretty hard to see here.

Now, is this not the sweetest face ever. He was just so happy to be sitting in his space with his toys. He went from sitting to tummy to moving in circles, to sitting again.

And this picture is for all of you that have recently seen it developed and mentioned to me that his face looks longated. Here's the original. You tell me. It was just the smile he had with his scrunchy nose. And I thought it was one of the cutest. But of course....

Little People

Looks like I forgot to include some Little People pictures.
Taking this moment to think about their ages. Timothy is going to be a year already on Sept 2nd, and Megan is starting kindergarden next week. Although the summer had more events than I was hoping for, it was wonderful to have everyday to enjoy days and nights with them and we pray that I can continue doing this for our family. If everyone can take a moment to pray for us and the opportunity to continue working from home with Discover. Understanding that if it doesnt work out there are other opportunties, and if so, they make our financial plan continue to work successfully.

Summer Time Fun

What we've been up to..
The Mt Prospect Block Party, GrandmaPapa's House, crawling, Pool Pool Pool, Timmy ear check (nothing, wheew), Northbrook Days, Timmy & FP Little People.

Megan Timothy and Mommy took a little "train" ride around the chase parking lot at the MP block party. The excitment was overwelming. We waved to Daddy at the fire station stand as we enjoyed our view of the festivities.

We run into "everyone" now. Here are a few of Megan's St Mark friends from preschool. Here are Aylssa and Dunovan. They all must have gone down this slide about 100 times.

I'm going to be a racer yet, you watch an see. (As long as Mom can help with the steering, is that allowed?)

I think this picture may have actually captured an accident of Megan's car.

Timothy is enjoying the view and taking it all in. He was given this glow necklace and didnt let go for nothing. It was entertainment for at least 30 minutes!

Daddy is closing up the fire station "station". He's standing here with Jim and Bettina and another volunteer. Oh, yes, and that is Megan.

Can't get enough of Grandma Papa. We dont have to do anything at all and it's a great time.

Papa is determined to get Timothy to crawl by example. When Timothy doesnt respond, Papa shows him again. Not sure if it's all the pressure or the timing, but he is trying to crawl. We'll have to make that the next posting.

Fun at Meadows pool. There is always someone else there to play with. This day we came with Kate B, and meet up with Lauren O, but found Megan P there too. Oh what fun!

This is one of the funniest pictures I've taken. If only you could have seen it taking place. Timothy is rubbing his belly. Yes, I said rubbing. It was so hysterical, still pictures won't give it proper justice. But is he not the cutest kid you ever did see. No ear infection reported. wheew!

Here is Megan on a roller coaster for about the 10th time at Northbrook Days with Aunt Gloria.
Yes, this is me on the ferris wheel. I gotta tell ya, I was ok till they stopped on top and slloowwly brought us down. Wheew, it gave my tummy some turns it hasnt felt in a long time. But, I did it for Megan and she had a blast. She kept asking, are you ok Mommy?
