AH Autumn Fest

Thank goodness I mark my calendar with events we get in the mail. I'd never remember on my own! This is the Arlington Hts Autumn Fest. It was a lot of fun for a small drive. It filled the day giving us some family time before Todd was off to work again.

The village came up with this really great idea to make the event more exciting for the kids. It was a scavenger like set up with a rhythm/riddle to find each "person" mentioned. It ensured, if the course was followed, that were saw and did everything they had to offer. It really was a great time, and best of all FREE! Love those family days the best!

Here is the "hay ride". Timothy is loving this new texture. And as you can see, the horse started to move "all the sudden" and Timmy almost went backwards. Whew. Good catch Mom. He wasn't phased at all.
